CWA recommended a vote in opposition of the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act as it would shift healthcare costs from employers and insurers onto workers by allowing stripped-down health plans that do not meet ACA essential health benefits requirements. This bill puts people with pre-existing conditions and chronic illnesses at risk of losing coverage, and rewards low-road employers for cutting corners on worker health care. Furthermore, the bill neglects to extend the ACA premium tax credits and will do nothing to address the skyrocketing health care costs that millions are about to experience.

This is Bad for working people.
