Gwynne Wilcox has an outstanding record as a labor law expert and is a tireless advocate for civil rights. Prior to serving as Associate General Counsel of 1199SEIU, the largest healthcare union in the nation, she defended low-wage and fast food workers' rights as counsel to the Fight for $15 campaign and represented the Vulcan Society, an organization of Black firefighters, in a successful race discrimination lawsuit that the United States Department of Justice brought against New York City. Wilcox’s experience within the NLRB and as counsel make her uniquely qualified to serve as a member of the NLRB. Her years of service to the NLRB as a Field Attorney equip her to seamlessly enter her role as Board member. Gwynne Wilcox would be the first Black woman ever to serve as an NLRB Member.

This is Good for working people.
